The mission of Rapid Pulse Racing is to bring extraordinary adventures into the lives of amazing people.

Rapid Pulse Racing's team has over 50 years combined experience as event designers, directors and producers. The RPR portfolio ranges from events for extreme athletes, weekend warriors, families, first-time enthusiasts of all ages to corporate events. RPR can custom design and manage your event ranging from sporting events, corporate team building, charity, commercial conferences and private meetings. ​RPR has extensive event planning, logistic and management experience and can provide venue scouting, equipment, logistics, permitting, event insurance, emergency medical services, media, security and any other needed event services. Our team

Troy Farrar

Troy Farrar is the Director of Rapid Pulse Racing and has produced over 200 adventure race, mountain bike, trail run, gravel grinder and paddling events since 1997. Troy was a pioneer of adventure racing, producing the first adventure race in both Texas and Oklahoma and one of the first adventure races in the United States. Farrar served as the president of the United States Adventure Racing Association for 22 years and was the event director for the USARA Adventure Race National Championship for over 20 years. Farrar currently serves as the executive director for US Endurance and the event director for the US Endurance Gravel Grinder National Championship.

Troy has competed in over 100 adventure races in several countries and dozens of 12 and 24 hour mountain bike and paddle races. Racing highlights include over a dozen adventure race wins, several 12 and 24 hour mountain bike race wins, two podium finishes at the USARA Sprint Adventure Race National Championship and a top 3 finish at The Texas Water Safari which is dubbed the World's Toughest Boat Race. Troy and his wife Debbie are focused on creating the same spirit of adventure in their son Luke and daughter Izzy.

Matt Battison

Matt Battiston is an army veteran who has been designing and producing events since 2001 including serving as the race director for the USARA Adventure Race National Championship and several US Endurance Gravel Grinder National Championships.

Matt has finished The World's Toughest Race – The Eco Challenge twice, The World's Toughest Foot Race – The Marathon des Sables and The World's Toughest Boat Race - The Texas Water Safari. Matt has also finished over 100 ultra runs, The Trans South Dakota Race, The Kansas Cannonball 550, dozens of gravel races including 4 DK finishes and The Missouri River 340 paddle race.

Roger Williams

Roger Williams is an Army veteran who has been designing and producing events since 2013 including serving as the course director for several US Endurance Gravel Grinder National Championships. Roger has mentored several race directors for gravel races, cyclocross and mountain bike events and has a passion for any event that gets people outside riding bikes.

Roger has competed in hundreds of cycling events including mountain bike, road racing, cylo-cross, gravel grinding and grass track. Roger is a multiple mountain bike, cyclo-cross, grass track and road race state champion and has held a top ten mountain bike national ranking.
